What is Journey Together?
Journey Together is the 9th Scarlet & Violet expansion (SV09), released March 28, 2025. Each booster pack holds 10 cards plus an energy, and the whole set is themed around Trainer's Pokémon, the Pokémon owned by beloved characters. Many of the cards celebrate the bond between specific Trainers and their partners.

The Box Topper is back
Journey Together marks the return of the Box Topper promo card. Collectors who bought Enhanced Booster Display boxes from the Pokémon Center or Play Pokémon stores could receive a stamped N's Reshiram promo. Regular retail booster boxes did not include this exclusive card.
There are store-exclusive stamped promos
Certain retailers received their own exclusive stamped cards. GameStop collectors could get a stamped Hop's Snorlax promo, while Best Buy offered a stamped Hop's Dubwool promo. These little retailer exclusives have become fun side quests for collectors.
Billy and O'Nare made it into the Pokémon TCG
Yes, the wealthy couple Billy and O'Nare appear together as a Trainer card in Journey Together. They're one of those delightful deep-cut inclusions that make longtime Pokémon fans smile when they spot them.
